According to The Hives Broadcasting Service Diary . ----------------------- 6 September 2012 Seattle, Victoria etc Hellooo Minions!! Well since Made In America we first took a plane to Seattle(can you believe that shit takes 6 hrs?! Thats like Philly to London) were we sampled local beer and performed a short concert for WINNERS at the Gibson headquarters for The End radio station. It fun. Then we saddled up and rode and boated to Victoria, Canada where we enjoyed beautiful nature scenes and looking at very high people at night. We played a show on a very small stage in a less small discotheque and the locals salivated wildly with mouths agape at the majesty of our rock. We now find ourselves in Vancouver were we tried to meet our swedish friend the vampire who had to turn into a bat and leave town rapidly so no dice there. WHat we are doing now? Made in America briefing
According to The Hives Broadcasting Service Diary . ----------------------- 3 September 2012 Made in America briefing So, we have a arrived in the states and done our first show. This took place at the Made In America festival in Philadelphia, PA (We prefer the 1638 name, New Sweden). Before playing the concert we had breakfast and went to consult with the inanimate object that is the Rocky/Sly Stallone statue for tips on how to win in Philly. Funny thing this. Making statues to commemorate people that never existed. I love America! It was clear to us the we had a lot of first time customers/Hives virgins in the crowd. This is always fun. First three songs they watch us with mouths open and eyes agape and then by the 4th the poison and hypnotics start working and they start smiling, dancing, shaking, shivering and clapping.
